Meet our Team
Sharon Beach
Sharon has been a member of the FELP community for many years while her two children attended, and she understands and loves the philosophy guiding our program. She was the lead teacher in the Sprouts 5 day 4s class. Sharon is also a teacher coach for Mariposa Education. She enjoys growing vegetables and flowers in her backyard garden as well as at FELP. She traveled to Honduras with OCHO, a non profit doing medical and public health work two summers ago and hopes to continue to volunteer with them post-COVID. Sharon has a B.A. in Communication and gained certification to teach elementary school. She holds a Masters degree in Educational Administration, taught Spanish in Baltimore County Public Schools and worked full time as a teacher mentor in County schools as well. In her free time she loves nothing more than to spend time with family, hike, and travel to new places.
TARA GLICKMAN
Tara has been substituting and helping at FELP since her oldest son enrolled in 2013. She has been an assistant teacher in the Kindergarten classroom since 2016. Tara earned her undergraduate degree in Communications at Towson University and her MLA at JHU. She enjoys reading, art, silly dancing and snack time.
Jeanne Stafford
Jeanne has been a part of the FELP community since 2011, when her son joined the 3 day 3s, and was an enthusiastic parent volunteer and sub. She joined us as an assistant teacher in the Seedlings (2s) and Buds (3s), with Amber and understands and enjoys our youngest students. She has been a part of Early Drop Off, Lunch Bunch and FELP Camp in the Summer. Jeanne has a BFA in Photographic Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She completed the credentialing coursework to become a lead teacher in 2020. She loves spending time with her family, especially out in nature, and spends much of her time photographing the things she sees there. She brings a gentle and nurturing kindness for the littlest of students.
