Parenting Classes

Each year, in winter we offer an 8-session course on Raising Emotionally Resilient Children by Mariposa Education.  Parents learn 5 key skills that foster stronger relationships, lead to stronger social emotional competencies in children, and help structure encouragement and consequences in effective ways.  The philosophy taught in this course is the same one used by FELP teachers.

Book Club

As a part of our commitment to diversity work, we offer regular parent and staff book clubs that focus on a range of issues related to diversity.
